Paris

One of the best places to visit in Paris is to visit the Louvre. The Louvre Museum is the world’s most visited museum, so it is also one of the busiest places in Paris. Even though it may seem overwhelming, seeing the queue to the museum, I highly recommend sticking with it! It is known for its incredible architecture and art. Exploring the museum can take a couple of hours to an entire day. The inside of the Louvre is overwhelmingly massive, so look at the exhibitions before going. You can find more information on bookings here.

3. See the famous Notre Dame

Notre-Dame Cathedral

Seeing Notre Dame is one of the best places to visit in Paris. Notre Dame is a medieval catholic church and one of the most famous landmarks of Paris. Unfortunately, in April 2019, the church was set on fire. For this reason, it is not currently possible to visit the inside.

However, I still recommend going there to see the outside of the church. It has remained some of the most predominant parts of the church. It makes for fantastic photo opportunities!

This is a place where you can experience lives that are not your own, pay respects to people that changed your life and to enjoy the beautiful artwork celebrating people’s lives. It is quiet, free and reflective.
please note that the ‘tour guide’ you impromptu hired is not telling the truth. We heard him say many lies about Jim Morrison. Also, some people with not respect the solemnness that is desired when at certain graves, feel free to ask them politely to shut up.
