The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a new multi-entry visit visa to the kingdom to ensure easy and organised travel for those attending FIFA World Cup Qatar. This special visa will be available for all those who possess a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Hayya Card.
As per the reports, the Hayya Card, which is issued by Qatar, will be mandatory for all World Cup attendees and will provide entry into Qatar as well as the stadiums. It’s expected that this new development will lure first-time as well as returning visitors to explore nearby destinations too.
Reports have it that the holders of the Hayya Card can apply for the new Saudi visa online, and the same will allow them a 60-day stay in Saudi, beginning 10 days before the tournament.
Who is eligible to apply for the Hayya Card?
As of now, organisers are inviting match ticket holders to apply for a Hayya Card. However, there is no official confirmation yet in relation to non-ticket holders, which will likely be announced soon.
Those in possession of match tickets can apply at hayya.qatar2022.qa or through the Hayya to Qatar 2022 mobile application.
What are the benefits of this card?
As per the latest reports, the Hayya Card, will provide entry to the stadium, along with a valid match ticket, access to free public transport on match days, and smart journey planning via the Hayya mobile application.
