From April 01, Malaysia is all set to reopen its borders for tourism, where on Tuesday, the government of Malaysia announced that it is ready to welcome fully vaxxed tourists. By doing this, the government has joined the list of nations removing COVID-19 restrictions and restarting tourism. This comes after the coronavirus has reached an endemic stage in the country.

The SE country relies heavily on tourism and is noted for its beach locations. The Nation is prized with beautiful white sand beaches and rainforests. Like all other nations, Malaysia had cut its borders for tourism purposes.

“The government has decided to open its borders on April 01, 2022. We believe this decision will boost our economy and help revive our ailing tourism sector”. In a press conference, said the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
