Set amid green nature, three resorts designed in traditional Japanese style provide guests with healthcare treatments like hot mineral baths and sauna services to boost both health and longevity.
Kawara My An Onsen Resort on the bank of the Pho Loi River in Phu Vang District in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue opened to tourists in December 2020. Its proximity to iconic tourist destinations in Hue like the Perfume River and the Imperial Citadel give the resort a plus.
Its architecture is a harmonious combination between Japanese design and the royal style of Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last royal family that ruled the country from 1802 until 1945.
One of the biggest highlights here is a mineral-rich onsen hot spring bath with its high sulfur composition believed to help improve health and cure diseases.
In addition to onsen facilities, guests could also experience other Japanese-style health care services like a Yomogi steam, herbal soak and mud bath.
Rooms here are arranged in a traditional Japanese style, with cushions and a tea table overlooking a small garden.
A night’s stay costs from VND2.5 million.
On the occasion of National Day (Sept. 2), the resort is offering a combo package of VND4.1 million for two guests, including a hot spring bath and buffet.
Da Nang – Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in Lien Chieu District, a 15-minute drive from Da Nang International Airport, opened in June this year.
Covering 13 hectares, the resort carries a distinct touch of Japanese architecture and other features like the miniature green garden in the shape of Fuji Mountain at its entrance.
The resort has a heated swimming pool on the top floor of the 22-story building that allows visitors to admire the entire Da Nang Bay.
With a variety of minerals imported from Japan, guests can experience mineral bath services at shared baths or separate areas for men and women.
It also has 294 beach-view rooms, with prices starting from VND3.7 million a night.
