Are you considering of travelling the North Scotland ? Be certain so as to add Dunrobin Fortress to your itinerary.
Travel to Dunrobin Castle is of a wee road trip up the tree lined driveway to Dunrobin Castle in the Northern Highlands of Sutherland. This is the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland.

Dunrobin Castle is on the north west coast of Scotland and home to the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. Parts of the castle date back to 1275 and it is the biggest house in the highlands with 189 rooms but no photography is allowed inside the Caste. The gardens were laid out by Sir Charles Barry in 1850 and although on the coast they are quite sheltered and pleasant to walk around. It rained that morning but the sun came out at lunch time and we saw no more rain for the next 10 days of the holiday in Scotland.
Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses, and it is also the largest in the Northern Highlands area with 189 rooms. Often known as the ‘Jewel in the Crown of the Highlands’, the castle boasts a French chateâu appearance with towering conical spires, and with a location on the east coast of the Highlands, it means you can admire stunning views over the Moray Firth.
Plan a visit to the castle and take a tour around the grounds, exploring the museum and gardens, and make sure you check out the falconry display.
There is also a shop and tea room in the castle too, offering delicious homemade food, or choose from Scottish crafts and products to take home as a souvenir.

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
