One of the (in)famous ships of all times which has been in the name for generations, Titanic which was one of the technologically advanced ships during that time that started its journey on April 10, 1912, and never made it to the shore as it hit the iceberg in North Atlantic on April 15, 1912, and sank.
The titanic wrecks were found in 1985, making it urban lore. This was a luxurious ship at the time, and it had 16 watertight compartments to help stay afloat in case of an accident. However, due to the collision’s severity, the compartments also got damaged, and the ship drowned with 1500 people, and 706 people survived.
The news is that now you can explore Titanic shipwreck with an ocean expedition company where OceanGate Expeditions is offering the same. Labeled the Titanic Survey Expedition 2021, this is a 3-hour expedition costing. The parts that are open to exploration are the bow section, the area around the very famous staircase, the bridge on the ship, and more.
The expedition into its second leg in 2022 is now open for where you need to fill the form, and then you will find a brochure sent to your email. These explorations aim to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the accident. One can send their interest in the expedition online for a chance to be a part of the same; there will be a follow-up interview as well before one gets to embark on the same.
