With Phu Quoc entering its peak season of international tourism, here is a list of 10 luxury resorts for a winter holiday as voted by users of Dutch online travel agency Booking.com.
Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island scored 9.5 points out of 10 based on Booking.com user votes. Just a few steps from Long Beach on Phu Quoc Island off the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang, the resort features 121 luxury rooms, suites, and villas designed in contemporary style. Each room has unique wall art, showcasing the beauty of the island’s natural wonders. The resort offers a free bike service and lies near restaurants and food stalls.

Built as an old French castle, La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc in Duong Dong Town scored 9.3 points. It has 74 rooms and villas in unique French style. Surrounded by green nature, the resort has a private beach and outdoor swimming pools.

Located along Long Beach in Phu Quoc, Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay also scored 9.3 points. It has over 300 rooms surrounded by green trees and swimming pools. Crowne Plaza is close to Vinpearl Land, offering visitors a variety of entertainment services.

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa scored 9.1 points. The resort along Khem Beach has 244 rooms and a shell-shaped swimming pool reaching out to sea. With unique design, the pool has become a symbol of the resort and won many travel awards from international magazines. Surrounded by tropical coconut forests, the pool is only for adults.

Chen Sea Resort & Spa Phu Quoc also scored 9.1 points. Lying along Ong Lang Beach on Phu Quoc Island, the resort has 36 villas stretching along sandy beaches mostly isolated from crowded residential areas. Each villa has a private balcony, an open bath, and a swimming pool.

InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort scored 8.9 points. Located along Long Beach, it has 459 rooms and villas surrounded by green trees that make it an ideal choice for nature lovers. One of the highlights of the resort is its bamboo spa huts floating on the water surface. It also has the highest skybar in Phu Quoc with glass doors from which visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of sunset.

Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort at Ong Doi Cape on the southern tip of Phu Quoc scored 8.7 points. The resort opened in 2018 and has 215 villas. It has an outdoor swimming pool that takes inspiration from the terraced rice fields of northern Vietnam.

Movenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc scored 8.6 points as some readers complained there are no entertainment activities inside the resort. Located on Ong Lang Beach, the resort has 305 hotel rooms and 79 villas with private swimming pools designed in contemporary style.
